The Role.
We are currently seeking a motivated and organised Junior Administrator to support our Training Coordinator within a busy civil engineering environment.
The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day coordination of employee training, certification records, and general administrative duties.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Training Coordinator
- Maintain and update employee training records and databases
- Schedule training courses, inductions, and refresher sessions
- Liaise with training providers, site managers, and employees regarding upcoming training requirements
- Monitor expiry dates for certifications such as Safe Pass, Manual Handling, CSCS cards, and other compliance documentation
- Prepare training reports and spreadsheets for management
- File and organise digital and paper documentation
- Assist with onboarding paperwork for new employees
- Answer phone and email queries professionally
- Support general office administration duties as required
The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous administration experience is desirable
- Experience in construction or engineering environments is an advantage, but full training will be provided
