- Act as a primary contact and trusted advisor for business units, identifying and developing strategic vendor partnerships for innovation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Global Procurement to develop and execute comprehensive category strategies, including market analysis, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigation.
- Lead complex Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, define selection criteria, conduct due diligence, and maintain a supplier database.
- Lead agreement negotiations for favorable terms, identify risks, and contribute to process enhancements.
- Develop and implement metrics to track and improve supplier performance, contributing to supplier scorecards.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management, with the focus on managing RFP/red-lining, commercial negotiation processes.
- Experience managing initiatives or projects from conception to completion within a corporate environment.
- Experience with data visualization and analysis.
- Experience managing vendor agreement negotiations, including legal terms, commercial conditions, and risk mitigation.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience partnering with external suppliers/agent based programs to deliver contracts and programs
- Experience acting as a trusted advisor or primary point of contact for executive business leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Proficiency in developing and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), supplier scorecards, and performance metrics to ensure vendor accountability.
- Knowledge in spend categories (e.g., IT, marketing, professional services) and the ability to conduct detailed market research and trend analysis.
- Excellent communication, sourcing, consulting, and collaboration skills.
