About the job

As a Sales Manager, you will lead and coach a sales team that uses business skills to understand our advertisers needs and deliver solutions that grow their businesses. You will lead relationships and business engagement with potential businesses from all verticals and business models in the market. You will enable the team to always reach business and productivity goals. Your knowledge of the business landscape and online media, combined with your business and problem-solving abilities, shapes how new and existing clients will grow. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. You will help the teams and take initiatives to partner directly with clients to provide service.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, motivate and develop a client-facing sales team.
  • Deliver against motivated business and product goals, grow engagement and client satisfaction for a portfolio of businesses in an assigned market.
  • Analyze data, trends, and client performance with the teams to develop plans for customers while tracking activity and provide detailed data analysis weekly, driving CRM tracking.
  • Model and coach business behaviors, including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and promoting.
  • Ensure team readiness to deliver advertising solutions and create a culture of business innovation and advertiser success on the team.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.
  • Experience building a book of business within Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region and market.
  • Experience leading a sales team or developing sales professionals.
  • Ability to communicate in English and any one CEE language (Czech, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Greek, Hungarian, Lithuanian, Croatian) fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with coaching digital campaign management, in Google Ads.
  • Experience in digital media.
  • Experience managing and inspiring the sales teams.
  • Experience in building relationships with internal and external C-level stakeholders, in an advertising or marketing environment.
