As a Sales Manager, you'll lead and coach a high-performing sales team that uses strong sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses in the Netherlands. In this role, you’ll lead relationships and sales engagement with high potential small businesses from all verticals and business models in the Dutch market. Be it a startup or a more mature business, wherever they stand in their journey, your team sets them up for long term sustained success by bringing the best of digital ad solutions from Google.

Responsibilities
- Recruit, retain, motivate and develop a client-facing and high-performing sales team.
- Deliver against ambitious revenue and product goals, grow engagement and client satisfaction for a portfolio of small businesses in an assigned market.
- Analyze data, trends, and client performance with your teams to develop strategic plans for customers, tracking activity and provide detailed data analysis weekly, driving consistent CRM tracking.
- Model and coach sales behaviors, including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and selling.
- Ensure team readiness to deliver complex advertising solutions and create a culture of sales innovation and advertiser success on the team.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.
- Experience leading a sales team or developing sales professionals.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing and inspiring high-performance sales teams.
- Experience with or coaching digital campaign management, particularly in Google Ads or other similar products.
- Experience building a book of business.
- Experience in building relationships with internal and external C-level stakeholders, particularly in an advertising or marketing context.
- Expertise in digital media.
- Ability to communicate in Dutch fluently to engage with clients in the region.
