With a rapidly growing array of sales teams, it's important to have knowledgeable, charismatic leaders to guide our client sales teams. As a Sales manager, you'll lead and coach high-performing account teams that use consultative sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. Sales managers willingly help their teams and roll up their sleeves to partner directly with clients to provide comprehensive service. You are an excellent communicator with a proven ability to train and motivate a large team, and you take an analytical approach to sales management.
Responsibilities
- Be able to co-own YouTube quarterly and annual planning alongside the IM.
- Drive seasonality & upsells by ensuring that the clients in your portfolio are satisfied with ROI.
- Build clients and agency relationships through service excellence, balancing their campaign needs with your proactive approach to selling & advising on their marketing activity, such as growth targets and client portfolio, while identifying YouTube opportunities.
- Develop, manage & deliver an In-Q business plan, leveraging connect sales for ongoing pipeline management, designing quarterly account plans, delivering campaign performance & leading ongoing pitch/solution design.
- Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of YouTube products through engaging with Product/GTM/RPLs.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
- Ability to communicate in German fluently to work with clients in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing performance-driven digital marketing campaigns (Search, YouTube, Apps).
- Understanding of the TV buying landscape.
- Ability to connect back to activation on YouTube.
