The role will comprise the following responsibilities:

• Managing sale and purchase mandates, MBO and MBI assignments (overseeing IM and financial databook preparation, preparing target lists);

• Managing the preparation of valuation reports (reviewing target research and valuation models and overseeing the writing of the report);

• Managing debt and equity raisings (reviewing databooks and writing of information documents);

• Managing preparation of robust and flexible financial models (including 3 statement forecast models and sensitivity analysis);

• Managing the preparation of business plans;

• Liaising with clients, target, financial institutions, solicitors etc; and

• Preparation of presentations and marketing initiatives.

The successful candidate will be and possess:

• The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with ACA, CFA or equivalent qualification;
• A minimum of 4 year’s post qualification experience with prior experience in corporate finance;
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles (IFRS and Irish GAAP);
• Advanced skills in MS Office – Excel and Power Point; experience in use of databases such as S&P Cap IQ Pro, Mergermarket, Bloomberg etc. is advantageous;
• Fluent English, other European languages are advantageous;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise reports;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
