About the Role:
In this role, you will support the growth and development of H&MV’s early career engineering talent. You’ll coordinate our Graduate Programme and internships, act as a key contact for participants and mentors, and help organise learning, CPD, and development activities. You will also lead STEM outreach, represent H&MV at university and community events, and build strong relationships with academic partners. This role is ideal for someone organised, people-focused, and passionate about supporting the next generation of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Early Careers Programme Support
- Coordinate the Graduate Programme & Internships, including onboarding, rotations and progression tracking.
- Act as a point of contact for graduates, interns, mentors, and rotation supervisors.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and documenting learning milestones and CPD activities.
STEM & Outreach Initiatives
- Lead and support STEM engagement activities including school visits, university events, and external engineering promotions.
- Organise engineering representation at career fairs, open days, Women in STEM initiatives, and community outreach programmes.
- Build relationships with academic institutions and student societies.
University & Early Talent Coordination
- Manage communication with universities, career services, and academic partners.
- Support recruitment activities for early careers roles (advertising, screening logistics, interview coordination).
Learning & Development for Early Careers
- Assist in planning and delivering L&D activities tailored for early‑career engineers.
- Coordinate CPD sessions, technical workshops, soft‑skill training, and e‑learning content.
Engineering Department Support
- Assist with ad hoc duties aligned with engineering development, mobility, or support needs.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in administration, HR, L&D, or early careers coordination desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive, people‑focused, and comfortable managing several parallel tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and confident using shared systems and databases.
- Passion for developing early‑career talent and promoting engineering as a career pathway.
