Accommodation Supervisor

As part of the Hodson Bay Group of Hotels, with over 700 employees from over 50 countries worldwide, we are committed to creating a positive working environment where our people feel they are a valued part of a team delivering excellent service to our guests.Responsibilities:Allocating work duties & cleaning lists to Accommodation Assistants/ Porters on a daily basis.Carrying out routine inspections of all check out rooms and spot checks of all occupied rooms.Reporting and follow up on any maintenance defects or other issues.Oversees implementation of deep cleaning programs, maintenance reporting and follow-up.Conducting daily and weekly training to ensure compliance with standards.Ensuring all rooms & Front of House areas are maintained and cleaned to the highest standard at all times.Liaising & communicating with Front Office and Reservations teams regarding room status.The ideal candidate will possess the following:Previous experience in Housekeeping/Accommodation Supervisor's Role/ 2-3 years as a Senior Accommodation AssistantExcellent customer service & communication skillsBe a good team leaderExcellent attention to detailGood organisational & interpersonal skills with a flexible approach to workFluency in both written and oral EnglishGood IT skillsAs a member of the Hodson Bay Group, the Galway Bay Hotel thrives in providing many development opportunities for motivated driven & efficient employee’s across all our departments.
