We are proudly featured in the Sunday Times list of Ireland’s Happiest Workplaces, voted Connacht’s Favourite Place to Stay, and honoured with multiple industry awards including the IASI Gold Award and CIE Tours Excellence Award.As part of the Hodson Bay Group, with over 700 employees representing more than 50 nationalities, we are committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive working environment where every team member feels valued and empowered to deliver exceptional guest experiences.Responsibilities:Wedding Sales & CoordinationManage wedding enquiries from first contact to confirmed booking and handoverHost showrounds and consultations, prepare proposals, and convert enquiries into confirmed businessComplete all wedding detailing and ensure smooth communication with OperationsMeetings & Events SalesHandle inbound M&E enquiries and prepare accurate proposals and contractsLiaise with Operations and F&B to ensure seamless event deliveryMaximise revenue through upselling and smart packagingBusiness DevelopmentBuild a proactive pipeline through follow‑up, outreach and supplier relationshipsRepresent the hotel at showcases, open days and networking eventsMarketing & Internal CommunicationsSupport internal marketing initiatives that drive wedding and event demandManage the hotel’s voucher sales strategyCoordinate with the Hodson Bay Group Marketing Office on campaigns and contentSystems, Reporting & Process ExcellenceMaintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales reportingSupport continuous improvement of proposals, templates and handover processesClient Experience & CollaborationDeliver an exceptional client journey with clear communication and attention to detailWork closely with Operations, F&B and Accommodation to ensure flawless event executionDrive post‑event feedback, testimonials and review generationRequirements:3+ years’ experience in hotel weddings, events or M&E sales (senior level preferred)Proven ability to manage the full wedding journey from enquiry to operational handoverStrong track record in converting enquiries, negotiating and maximising revenueSolid understanding of function space management and event documentationExperience using CRM systems and reporting toolsStrong sales ability with confidence converting wedding and event enquiriesExcellent communication skillsHighly organised with exceptional attention to detailCommercial awareness with ability to upsell and optimise revenueStrong collaboration skills across departmentsProactive, adaptable and comfortable in a fast‑paced environmentFlexibility for occasional evenings/weekends for showrounds or eventsBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsEmployee discountFood allowanceOn-site gymOn-site parkingWellness programmeIf you’re passionate about weddings and events, driven by results, and ready to make a real commercial impact, we’d love to hear from you.
