Overview

Expleo is seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to support a major HR Transformation programme spanning multiple markets. This senior role requires a strong blend of business analysis expertise, process design capability, and team leadership. You will lead a team of Business Analysts while also delivering key analysis work yourself, contributing to the successful rollout of a global HR solution.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with significant experience in HR transformation, global process harmonisation, and stakeholder alignment across complex organisational environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of up to six Business Analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables, consistency, and analytical rigour.
  • Act as the quality assurance and review point for BA outputs across requirements, process maps, documentation, and analysis artefacts.
  • Own and deliver end‑to‑end requirements capture, definition, and analysis across core HR domains (e.g., Core HR, Talent, Learning, Performance, Compensation).
  • Lead the development of as‑is and to‑be process maps, ensuring alignment with HR transformation goals and global design principles.
  • Navigate the balance between global standardisation and local market needs, helping stakeholders make informed decisions around localisation.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, process walkthroughs, and structured discussions with global and in‑market HR stakeholders.
  • Ensure full traceability from requirements through design, build, test, and deployment, supporting programme governance and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HR SMEs, solution architects, global process owners, change specialists, and delivery teams across multiple geographies.
  • Support risk/issue resolution, dependency management, and the broader programme operating model.

Qualifications

  • Relevant third level qualification or equivalent work experience

Desirable

  • Management qualification or relevant years of experience
  • Additional course or certification in Business Analysis

Essential skills

  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to guide, mentor, and quality‑assure the work of a business analysis team.
  • Expertise in requirements engineering, process modelling (e.g., BPMN), and business analysis methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of HR processes and HR operating models.
  • Ability to facilitate complex workshops and communicate effectively with senior global and local stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and structured thinking abilities.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and support decision‑making within a large programme environment.
  • Skilled at managing the tension between global processes and local market variations.

Experience

  • 8–10+ years of Business Analysis experience, ideally including leadership of BA teams or Lead BA roles.
  • Significant experience in HR Transformation programmes, whether technology‑enabled or process‑focused.
  • Proven track record of operating in global, multi‑market environments with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering HR process design, requirements definition, and transformation analysis.
  • Experience with HR platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Cornerstone, etc.) is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience working within large‑scale programme structures with cross‑functional delivery teams.
