Overview
You will join Expleo’s high‑performing Business Analysis team and act as a senior BA providing expert guidance across Transfer Agency (TA) change initiatives. You will lead analysis for TA operational processes, client and investor servicing, digital transformation, regulatory change, and systems enhancements. This role is ideal for someone who has deep experience across TA operations and can translate complex business needs into actionable requirements and solutions.
Responsibilities
Business & Functional Analysis
- Lead workshops with TA stakeholders to capture detailed business, functional, and non‑functional requirements, covering areas such as investor onboarding, AML/KYC, transaction processing, reconciliations, dealing workflows, and reporting.
- Review and map end‑to‑end TA processes (trade capture, settlement, cash management, trailer fees, fund events) and identify optimisation opportunities.
- Produce high‑quality BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned to TA systems and regulatory needs.
- Conduct data analysis and modelling, including investor record structures, transaction lifecycle data, and TA system interfaces.
Project Delivery
- Coordinate multiple phases of TA-related projects, such as new client onboarding, system migrations, regulatory initiatives (e.g., FATCA/CRS, MiFID, UCITS), or operational efficiency programmes.
- Track activities against project plans and manage stakeholder engagement across TA operations, AML, fund accounting, compliance, and technology teams.
- Support testing teams with traceability matrices, scenario design, and data validation for TA workflows and integrations.
- Identify risks to successful delivery, especially in areas involving investor data, regulatory compliance, and legacy system dependencies.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Act as a senior advisor to client TA operations teams, providing guidance on best practices, process optimisation, and emerging technologies (e.g., workflow automation, digital onboarding).
- Facilitate communication across business and IT teams, ensuring TA requirements are fully understood and implemented.
- Mentor junior analysts and support capability building within the BA practice.
Qualifications
- Relevant third level qualification or equivalent work experience
Desirable
- Management qualification or relevant years of experience
- Additional course or certification in Business Analysis

Experience
- Proven ability to analyse and enhance TA operational processes and understand regulatory obligations (AML/KYC, FATCA/CRS, MiFID).
- Strong experience working within Transfer Agency functions, fund administration, investor services, or TA technology platforms.
- Knowledge in business analysis methodologies and has awareness of new and emerging technologies and developments
- Has good applications/technology knowledge, building on specialist domain knowledge
- Proven ability in assuring project meets quality standards by providing guidance and developing procedures relating to product quality
- Experience in applying problem-solving methodologies and tools to diagnose and solve operational problems
- Experience in providing technical guidance to enable others and solving technical queries from junior colleagues
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Experience of using recommended project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking
