What you'll do

The Workplace Experience function is a strategic capability within the Learning & Organizational Effectiveness team. It is a Center of Excellence for hybrid, distributed work and enables Docusign through the design and operation of offices globally. We work to reduce complexity across functions, deliver new business capabilities and fundamentally improve employee experience. As a Team Lead you will own and drive operational excellence and customer focus for our Dublin office that allows us to innovate employee experience.

 

This position is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Director, Workplace Experience.

 

Responsibility

  • Drive and own workplace operational excellence and customer focus to ensure a seamless, productive and welcoming experience for our employees and visitors, including front desk coverage, onsite event support, food and beverage program and employee engagement moments

  • Lead a small team of workplace professionals with an emphasis on creating clarity, accountability and impact. While fostering a culture of collaboration, growth and development to drive continuous improvement and innovation

  • Lead and implement all aspects of facilities management in alignment with regional SOP’s and SLA’s including mail and package operations, access control, space planning, repair and maintenance and vendor management

  • Create and implement occupancy and neighborhood plans to optimize space utilization and employee experience

  • Act as a key contributor and site leader for office build outs and improvement projects, working with Real Estate and Workplace Design, vendors, and contractors; including leading medium scale projects

  • Deliver onsite event programming in support of L+D, Culture and ERG programs with a high degree of care and in alignment with regional operations to ensure consistency

  • Utilize the event management process to enable the most effective use of our facilities while creating a meaningful outcome for participants

  • Event and employee engagement design that enables connection and collaboration executed with a high degree of sophistication

  • Collaborate with the global Workplace Experience team on scalable programs and establish consistent, best practices for location management

  • Build local stakeholder engagement with business leaders, executive support team, and other key partners to ensure Workplace Experience is aligned with business needs

  • Create content for the Workplace Experience intranet site to ensure employees are informed and have access to events, programs and operating procedures

  • Partner with FP+A on finance and budget matters for the Dublin office and manage spend to target throughout the year

  • Maintain and build relationships with vendors and suppliers for the Dublin office that drive value and efficiency

  • Drive effective cross functional collaboration to ensure Workplace is in alignment and compliant with the following teams: Safety & Security, Crisis Management & Business Continuity, Sustainability, Real Estate, Finance and the broader People Team

  • Work extended hours as needed

Job Designation

In Office: Employee works from the physical workspace 100% of the time.

What you bring

Basic

  • 4+ years of professional experience in workplace operations, facilities management, corporate real estate, or hospitality management

  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing a workplace team at a large-scale facility

Preferred

  • Experience in high-growth technology companies

  • A deep passion for customer-centric, hospitality-driven operations with the ability to navigate complex situations with sophistication and poise

  • Experience managing/supporting office build-outs and relocations

  • Experience with Agile workplace strategies, ABW, and relevant change management

  • Project Management experience

  • Regular use of project management and collaboration software and tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to facilitate meetings, lead team events/meetings, and communicate effectively

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

California: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

 

Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

 

Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

 

Washington DC: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

 

Ohio: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary 

 

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
