The Role and Impact:
As an AMHS Module Equipment Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting Intel's advanced manufacturing processes by ensuring optimal performance of critical production equipment.
You will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and reliability of the tools that drive our operations, contributing directly to Intel's success in delivering cutting-edge semiconductor solutions.
Your expertise will help prevent disruptions, improve process reliability, and maximize equipment performance, making you an essential part of our innovative manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues in nonfunctioning equipment.
Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, or sketches.
Conduct setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, ensuring consistent performance.
Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate service and repairs when required.
Monitor and analyze equipment data to identify areas of improvement and maintain performance standards.
Create reports detailing system failures, update existing specifications, and develop new specifications to enhance equipment performance.
Partner with Module Engineering to execute experiments and configuration changes, supporting data collection activities.
Implement controlled experimentation and analysis to troubleshoot and optimize module equipment performance.
Contribute to factory ramp activities by assisting module engineering and construction teams with equipment installation and conversions in alignment with design specifications.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
National Certificate, diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification at NFQ Level 6 or 7 in electro-mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation disciplines.
Proven experience of 3-5 years in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
Proficiency in equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Strong knowledge of automated material handling system fundamentals.
Demonstrated ability to execute disciplined problem-solving approaches and manage equipment scheduling efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Mechanical and electrical knowledge to support complex equipment adjustments and maintenance.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
Ability to summarize and present information in a clear and concise manner.
Proficient in PC tools and systems for data collection and reporting.
Analytical mindset with solid decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently while embracing team collaboration when required.
