Bar Person

Fork & Wheel is looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Bar Person to join our team.

About the Role

As a Bar Person, you will play an important role in creating a great experience for our guests. You will be responsible for providing friendly and efficient bar service, preparing drinks to a high standard and maintaining a clean and well-organised bar throughout service.

You will work closely with the wider restaurant team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional and efficient service to guests.
• Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Take orders accurately and process payments efficiently.
• Maintain excellent standards of presentation and cleanliness behind the bar.
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked and prepared for service.
• Follow responsible service of alcohol and food safety procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Work closely with the restaurant and kitchen teams during busy service periods.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous bar or hospitality experience is desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
• A friendly and positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic.
• An interest in hospitality and providing a great guest experience.

🚗 Important Transport Requirement

Due to the location of Fork & Wheel and limited public transport options, candidates must have their own reliable means of transport to and from the restaurant.

This is an essential requirement for the role, particularly given the working hours associated with a busy restaurant operation.
