Role Overview

 

Irish Life Group Services is seeking an experienced HR Payroll Specialist to join our HR team. This role is key to ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time, and that our payroll processes are well controlled, compliant, and continuously improved.

What you will help us to achieve

 

•    Payroll processing – ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing, including Benefit In Kind and Enhanced Regulatory Reporting processes.
•    SuccessFactors ECP sustainment – regularly monitor and support SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll to ensure the software is compliant.
•    Payroll accounting – complete monthly payroll journals to ensure the accounting ledger is correct and up to date.
•    Risk management – follow all risk procedures within the team’s processes to maintain robust controls.
•    GDPR compliance – follow all GDPR guidelines and retention rules for all payroll processes.
•    Reporting – issue all relevant payroll reports in a timely manner each month.
•    Process Improvement – support regular review of current processes and identify any efficiencies or areas for improvement.

What you will need to be successful in the role

 

•    Strong experience in end to end payroll processing in a complex environment.
•    Familiarity with payroll accounting and journal preparation.
•    Experience with HR/payroll systems (ideally SuccessFactors ECP or similar).
•    Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and a focus on controls and risk.
•    Good understanding of GDPR requirements as they apply to employee data.
•    Ability to work collaboratively within a team and to tight deadlines.
•    IPASS qualification desirable but not essential.
