Your impact

As a member of our dynamic team of engineers, you will contribute to a diverse portfolio of nationally and regionally significant transportation projects across the UK and Ireland. You’ll be involved in preparing feasibility studies, scheme reports, and preliminary and detailed designs for highways major projects and active travel initiatives—helping shape sustainable infrastructure for communities.

You’ll also have opportunities to attend progress meetings and public exhibitions, engaging with stakeholders and the public to support project transparency and collaboration.

Our Ireland Transportation sector is delivering high-profile projects for clients such as Transport Infrastructure Ireland, the National Transport Authority, Irish Rail, major contractors, and several Local Authorities across Ireland, Northern Ireland and the globe[GB1] .

We currently have exciting opportunities within our Highways Civil Engineering teams in Dublin where your expertise and passion can help drive innovation and growth across our transportation projects.

Here's what you'll need

A Level 8 degree in Civil Engineering
Attained, or close to attaining Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland or equivalent.
Understanding of Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) Publications, UK Design Manual for Roads and Bridge (DMRB) & Active Travel standards
Proven technical experience of Major Highway, Local Road or Active Travel schemes and understanding of Health & Safety legislation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage a challenging workload that may change at short notice.
Ability to produce well-presented and accurate reports
Experience of Design, Build Projects and Civils 3D proficient, and/or drainage design capabilities (WINDES or equivalent)
Experience of Construction Supervision and Road Safety Auditing
Basic knowledge of project management and contractual issues and knowledge of different contract types and procurement options
Experience of Building Information Modelling (BIM)
