Your impact


The Land Officer will assume responsibility for supporting their Manager in carrying out activities third-party stakeholders (e.g., homeowners) that are required for the efficient and successful delivery of the program. The role holder will act as a source of expert advice in regards land and property, providing analysis and strategic advice on various property related matters and managing property-based negotiations, involving significant interaction with internal and external stakeholders on multiple property related matters.


Here's what you'll need



  • 3+ years’ land and property acquisition and management experience and management and a proven track record of conducting land and property acquisition and management activities on high value road and / or infrastructure projects or similar.
  • Further demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following is desirable:
    • The Irish property market and a strong understanding of compulsory purchase law and practice;
    • The obligations on public sector organisations in acquiring land and property;

    • Carrying out specialised property valuations and appraisals;

    • Actively contributing, negotiating and concluding property-based agreements involving a wide variety of stakeholders;

    • Dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of processes

    • Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems is desirable
