As a member of Jacobs Risk Team, you’ll be working across the built environment and major infrastructure programmes, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering some of the Ireland's largest and most technically complex schemes.

This is risk management where your expertise genuinely changes outcomes on the ground, you’ll be trusted to:
- As strategic lead to review, develop, and maintain comprehensive risk and opportunity management frameworks. Formulate innovative strategies to achieve project objectives and drive success across the portfolio.
- To lead quantitative and qualitative risk analysis efforts. Be accountable for developing best practices in risk and opportunity management, implementing a comprehensive suite of procedures throughout all project delivery stages. Experience in deploying & performing QCRA and QSRA is essential.
- Serve as the focal point for risk and opportunity management, promoting best practices,providingexpert advice on project risk management, andfacilitatingmitigation measures.
- Provide specialist risk support to stakeholders through risk and opportunity analysis, workshops, and reviews. Ensure that risks and opportunities are effectivelyidentified, evaluated, mitigated, andmonitored.
- Establish andmaintainrobust risk reporting and communication mechanisms for projects and across the corporation, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Devise and implement staff training and engagement strategies to enhance risk awareness and foster a strong risk and opportunity management culture throughout the organisation.
- Participate in project reviews, senior management reporting, and resource allocation, ensuring the integration of activities across multiple major project operations for cohesive and effective project outcomes.

Experience in any of the following will set you up for success:
Highways & Transport, Energy & Power, Water & Environment, Major Capital Programmes
- Proven experience in project and programme risk & opportunity management in construction, infrastructure or the built environment
- Recognised risk qualification (IRM Diploma, PMI RMP, MoR Practitioner, APM Risk Practitioner or equivalent)
- Hands-on QCRA and QSRA experience
- Strong communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Flexibility to travel and occasionally stay away overnight
- Practicalexpertisewith tools such as Safran, Oracle PRA, @Risk, ARM, Predict, Risk Hive, or similar
- Experience designing and embedding risk frameworks,governanceand reporting
- Ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management or similar
Desirable
- Project management qualification (PMP, AMPPMQ, PRINCE2)
- Knowledge of ISO 31000, COSO ERM, APM PRAM
- Membership of IRM, APM, PMI or similar
- Experience with NEC contracts, PMO environments or major project controls
