As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you’ll tackle complex ground engineering challenges on major Irish and international infrastructure projects, from transportation and utilities to advanced facilities and environmental schemes.
You’ll influence critical decisions, lead technical excellence, and mentor the next generation of engineers — all while being backed by a global network of 400+ geotechnical and tunnelling specialists who thrive on solving the toughest problems together.

Based in Dublin, you’ll play a key role across the full project lifecycle — from early feasibility and ground investigation through to design, delivery, and construction support.
You’ll:
- Lead and support geotechnical inputs on high‑profile projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams locally and globally
- Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers
- Work hands‑on with site investigations and contractors
- Develop innovative, practical solutions to complex ground conditions
You’ll bring strong technical foundations and the ambition to keep growing:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering
- Commitment to achieving Chartered status in the foreseeable future
- Solid experience in geotechnical design and reporting
- Experience preparing Ground Investigation tender packs, scopes, specifications and BOQs
- On‑site experience with Ground Investigation contractors and techniques
- Working knowledge of geotechnical software such as Slope/W, OpenGround
- Experience with mapping/drawing tools — ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Project Mapper
- Strong understanding of Codes of Practice, Design Standards, and Health & Safety
