The Role

As a Home Care Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients while supporting and guiding our care team in the community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting care supervision visits in clients’ homes

  • Completing risk assessments to ensure safe working environments

  • Maintaining accurate supervision and compliance records

  • Participating in care activities as part of the supervision process

  • Supporting, mentoring and supervising care staff to deliver best-practice care

  • Using a person-centred approach in all aspects of care delivery

  • Liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care plans

Qualifications & Experience

  • QQI/FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support (or equivalent)

  • QQI Level 6 in Supervision (or equivalent)

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience working as a Care Assistant

  • Previous supervisory experience desirable (home care experience an advantage, but not essential)

  • Strong computer and administrative skills desirable

  • Access to transport is essential
