Role Overview

The Recruitment Officer will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for healthcare and support employees. The successful candidate will ensure all recruitment activities reflect our core values of accountable, authentic, personal and thrive.

This role is critical to maintaining a high standard which ensures safe, reliable, and quality care delivery to clients in their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for Healthcare Assistants, and office-based roles

  • Develop and post engaging job advertisements across relevant platforms

  • Screen CVs and conduct competency-based and values-based interviews

  • Ensure candidates meet all compliance requirements (Garda Vetting, references, qualifications, right to work in Ireland)

  • Coordinate onboarding, contracts, and induction processes

  • Maintain accurate recruitment records in line with GDPR and HIQA requirements

  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline

  • Support retention initiatives and workforce planning

  • Promote employer branding aligned with company values

Person Specification

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years recruitment experience (healthcare preferred)

  • Strong understanding of compliance in Irish healthcare recruitment

  • Knowledge of employment legislation in Ireland

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities

  • Ability to work independently in a part-time role

Desirable

  • Qualification in HR, Business, or CIPD (or working towards)

  • Experience recruiting for home care sector

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
