We are searching for the best talent for DPS Cork Plant Controller.
Purpose:
This position has primary financial responsibility for the De Puy Synthes Manufacturing Site in Cork, Ireland .This responsibility includes Manufacturing Accounting and Forecasting, Variance Analysis, Capital Investment Appraisal and most importantly Business Partnering
with the sites operational teams.
This role requires multiple organizational interfaces across the De Puy Synthes Supply Chain as well as across all Functional Pillars in Cork .The position is a key driver in the attainment of the strategic objectives of the Cork site as well as contributing to the overall Strategic Objectives of the De Puy Synthes Supply Chain.
Responsibilities
Partners with business leaders to deliver financial commitments.
Supervise the preparation of the annual Business Plan and quarterly forecasts for the Cork site.
Supervise and /or conduct financial analyses on an as needed bases.
Influence business partners to identify more efficient, sustainable processes and systems; institutionalizes the changes that significantly improves business operations; implements best practices on all relevant processes.
Ensure integrity and completeness of all relevant financial information.
Actively participate in the development and implementation of the Cork sites strategic imperatives and objectives.
Actively participate as a member of the Operations Senior Leadership Teams.
Collaborate with WW Make& Supply Chain Finance Partners as appropriate.
Lead and develop a staff of 4 in Cork.
Ensure that all relevant financial systems, policies and processes are in compliance with generally accepted accounting processes and with Johnson and Johnson World Wide Procedures.
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications / Requirements
3rd Level Degree in a Business Related Field.
Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
Working knowledge of JDE systems.
Healthcare / Medical Device experience is desirable.
Minimum 10 Years Post Qualification Experience ideally in a Manufacturing Environment.
Minimum 4 Years Experience in a Supervisory Capacity.
Demonstrated record of strong collaboration ,leadership, and team building skills.
Demonstrated record of influencing, negotiating, and conflict management skills.
Strong communications skills (presentations, listening, written skills).
Strong analytical and technical skills.
Good organizational skills, shows attention to detail.
Drive, energy and enthusiasm a self-motivated individual.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes
The anticipated base pay range for this position is 70'100 EUR to 121'210 EUR.
In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
