About the Role

We are looking for a Junior IT Engineer who is eager to begin a hands‑on technology career and grow through a structured two‑year development journey.

This role is designed for graduates or early‑career engineers who want to learn how real enterprise systems are built, integrated, and operated in the cloud. Candidate will join a supportive team that develops modern applications for Supply Chain and ERP processes, while receiving continuous coaching, formal training, and real project exposure.

During the two‑year rotation program, The Candidate will:

• Build a strong engineering foundation across cloud, application development, and data

• Gain exposure to enterprise‑scale systems and integrations

• Grow steadily in responsibility and ownership, with guidance from experienced engineers

What Candidate Will Do

As a Junior IT Engineer, the employee will work alongside senior engineers to build and enhance cloud‑based applications that support Johnson & Johnson’s business operations.

Employee will:

• Help design, build, and improve applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) that extend core business and ERP systems

• Translate business requirements into simple, practical digital solutions, such as internal applications and services

• Contribute to new features, bug fixes, and small enhancements in a collaborative development team

• Learn how enterprise applications store, process, and exchange data across systems

• Support testing activities, identify issues, and help resolve them in a structured way

• Gain hands‑on experience with cloud development, including application security and operations

• Collaborate closely with functional teams, analysts, and other engineers to ensure solutions meet real business needs

• Work in an Agile environment, participating in planning, reviews, and continuous improvement

• Gradually take ownership of small components or features, supported by mentoring and coaching

• Continuously develop candidate's technical skills through formal training and on‑the‑job learning within the SAP BTP ecosystem

Who We Are Looking For

Education & Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

• Graduates or early‑career professionals (up to 3 years of experience)

• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills

• Curious, motivated, and eager to learn new technologies

• Passionate about building technology solutions in a healthcare environment

Required Technical Skills

• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• Basic understanding of SQL and databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, in‑memory concepts)

• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML

• Basic awareness of cloud computing concepts

• Analytical mindset with good problem‑solving skills

• Willingness to learn SAP BTP, CAP, RAP, and CPI

• Experience with at least one IDE (e.g., VS Code, Eclipse, IntelliJ)

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Node.js or Java backend development

• Basic knowledge of Git or version control systems

• Any awareness of SAP or ERP systems

Training & Development

After joining, candidate will receive structured training in:

• SAP Business Technology Platform (Cloud Foundry)

• CAP (Java / Node.js)

• ABAP RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming)

• SAP CPI / Integration Suite

This training is complemented by mentoring, hands‑on project work, and peer support.
