Overview

The Senior Manager, Asset Management Programs supports the development and deployment of the Asset Management (AM) Framework across designated sub-regions and platforms. The role drives facility maintenance excellence through standardized asset management and reliability practices, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient facilities across the global supply chain.

This position partners closely with J&J-operated facilities, integrated facility management (IFM) providers, and cross-functional E&PS stakeholders. The role leads subject matter experts in CMMS and Inventory Management and oversees the deployment of key asset risk, compliance, and reliability programs across the full asset lifecycle.

A suitable candidate for this role will have asset management and reliability experience in a regulated industry with a strong “end-to-end” supply chain mindset.

This candidate would also have experience in supporting facility operations with a strong collaborative leadership style with experience in deploying an asset management strategy.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Asset Management contact for assigned sub-regions or platforms, with accountability for CMMS and inventory management performance.

  • Lead the deployment and governance of global asset management programs, standards, and initiatives to improve reliability and maintenance effectiveness.

  • Support IFM supplier governance related to asset management and risk, ensuring consistent adoption of the AM Framework.

  • Establish and maintain inventory management standards, including inventory optimization and SLOB reduction initiatives.

  • Partner with project delivery, engineering, and design teams to embed asset management and CMMS standards across the full asset lifecycle.

  • Drive CMMS data quality, utilization, and compliance with global data and reporting standards.

  • Enable adoption of the digital asset management strategy, including predictive maintenance, analytics, and emerging technologies.

  • Promote collaboration across E&PS to support a unified “One E&PS” operating model.

  • Responsible for the deployment of CMMS data standards, utilization of CMMS and adoption of leading practices.

  • Ensure adoption of the digital asset management strategy for key sites and locations as part of a global asset management ecosystem

 

Education & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, etc. or relevant experience required

 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge:

 

Required:

  • Demonstrated experience deploying asset management and reliability programs in a regulated environment.

  • Strong knowledge of asset risk and compliance programs and mitigation strategies.

  • Proven leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

  • Strong digital literacy, including familiarity with predictive asset monitoring and analytics solutions.

  • Ability to operate strategically while maintaining a strong execution focus.

 

Preferred:

  • Certified reliability, asset management or maintenance certificate, degree or program

  • Experience and working knowledge of various facility systems in a GxP environment

  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining a tactical focus
