Kepak Athleague are looking for Cleaning Operatives to work an evening shift from approximately 4pm - midnight, 4 days per week, working Monday to Thursday.

Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring that the standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the production environment is achieved on a daily basis, ensuring safe use of industrial cleaning equipment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring cleaning of all industrial machinery, tools, and equipment is carried to the highest standard
  • Cleaning of factory floors, walls, work surfaces and production lines within allocated area
  • Safe use of industrial pressure washers and cleaning equipment
  • Safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals, in line with training
  • Maintain and safely operate tools, equipment, and chemicals
  • Adhering to cleaning instructions and schedules, to ensure tasks meet the required hygiene standards
  • Maintain Industrial Hygiene Standards
  • Completion of daily cleaning tasks, and completion of all relevant documentation and checklists
  • Maintain to Health and Safety Standards
  • Actively participate in all required company training
  • Complying with Company’s health and safety rules, and hygiene requirements
  • Carry out any other duties as directed

Requirements

  • Experience working within an Industrial Cleaning Environment preferred
  • Able to work in chilled environments
  • Manual handling ability and awareness, must be fit and able
  • Meticulous attention to detail essential
  • Commitment to good practice
  • Good command of the English language
  • Ability to multitask and work under own initiative to deliver to deadlines
  • Relationship builder with influencing skills
  • Strong team player
  • Flexible approach to working and committed to night shifts and potential sporadic weekend working
