Kepak Athleague are looking for Cleaning Operatives to work an evening shift from approximately 4pm - midnight, 4 days per week, working Monday to Thursday.
Job Purpose
Responsible for ensuring that the standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the production environment is achieved on a daily basis, ensuring safe use of industrial cleaning equipment at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring cleaning of all industrial machinery, tools, and equipment is carried to the highest standard
- Cleaning of factory floors, walls, work surfaces and production lines within allocated area
- Safe use of industrial pressure washers and cleaning equipment
- Safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals, in line with training
- Maintain and safely operate tools, equipment, and chemicals
- Adhering to cleaning instructions and schedules, to ensure tasks meet the required hygiene standards
- Maintain Industrial Hygiene Standards
- Completion of daily cleaning tasks, and completion of all relevant documentation and checklists
- Maintain to Health and Safety Standards
- Actively participate in all required company training
- Complying with Company’s health and safety rules, and hygiene requirements
- Carry out any other duties as directed
Requirements
- Experience working within an Industrial Cleaning Environment preferred
- Able to work in chilled environments
- Manual handling ability and awareness, must be fit and able
- Meticulous attention to detail essential
- Commitment to good practice
- Good command of the English language
- Ability to multitask and work under own initiative to deliver to deadlines
- Relationship builder with influencing skills
- Strong team player
- Flexible approach to working and committed to night shifts and potential sporadic weekend working
