Two-Shift Rotation (06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00)

Competitive rate of pay starting at £14.57 per hour and increasing to £15.40 after full training. Overtime will be paid at time and a half (£21.85 / 23.10) and Sundays are double rate (£29.14 / 30.80).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate high speed production machinery, monitoring equipment performance and ensuring its safety and efficiency.
  • Complete all documentation and quality checks accurately.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and quality standards at all times.
  • Monitor auto-coding systems to ensure accurate product labelling and traceability.
  • Take ownership of line efficiency, escalating recurring issues to reduce downtime.
  • Reporting any quality, hygiene or other issues to an Area Leader promptly to minimise downtime and uphold quality standards.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet customer and regulatory expectations.
  • Working effectively as part of a production team to ensure optimum results.
  • Lead and coordinate team rotations to ensure optimal staffing and work flow.

Requirements

What we need from you:

·       Previous machine operator experience is essential

·       Previous food production experience is an advantage, but not essential

·       Leadership ability, and confidence to take responsibility of your production line

·       Ability to remain calm under pressure

·       Effective communication skills and willingness to work as a team

·       Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment

·       A safety-conscious mindset with commitment to following all safety guidelines
