Kirby Group Engineering
- Lead and enforce the full supply chain management lifecycle
- Set the standard for how suppliers are selected, evaluated, and retained
- Introduce structure, consistency, and clear performance expectations across all regions
- Build and manage portfolio-level dashboards that actually get used
- Track supplier performance across safety, quality, commercial and ESG metrics
- Identify risks early — and do something about them
- Run ongoing capacity and capability discussions with subcontractors
- Align Kirby’s project pipeline with the right supply partners
- Identify gaps and proactively build new supplier options in key regions
- Ensure RFQs go to the right suppliers, with the right standards, every time
- Maintain discipline around budgets, approvals, and governance
- Improve the accuracy between estimated and awarded values (no surprises later)
- Implement structured supplier performance reviews across all projects
- Manage escalation pathways — from improvement plans to removal where needed
- Work closely with Operations to drive better labour and productivity outcomes
- Oversee supplier reapprovals on a rolling 3-year basis
- Monitor financial health, compliance, and certification standards
- Provide clear insight to senior leadership on exposure and risk
- You bring clarity to complex supply chain structures
- You make governance practical — not just documented
- You’re comfortable challenging stakeholders when standards slip
- You understand both the commercial and operational realities of construction projects
- You turn data into decisions, not just dashboards
- Strong experience in supply chain, procurement, or subcontractor management within construction, engineering, or similar project-led environments
- A clear understanding of risk, compliance, and performance management across suppliers
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally
- Experience managing supplier performance, frameworks, and governance processes
- Confidence working with data, reporting tools, and digital systems
- You’ll have real influence, not just responsibility
- You’ll be working on major projects with a visible impact
