Assistant Energy Manager 2 Yr FTC

This is a two year fixed term contract within the Energy Agency, which forms part of the Emergency Operations and Climate Action Directorate. 

The successful candidate will function as Cork City Council’s Energy Manager but may also be assigned—on a full time basis—to broader Energy Agency workstreams aimed at achieving net carbon neutral public buildings by 2030.

The duties of Cork City Council’s Energy Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Strategic Leadership & Energy Governance.
• Energy Management Systems & Compliance.
• Project Identification, Delivery & Renewable Energy Development.
• Monitoring, Reporting & Data Management.
• Engagement, Communication & Capacity Building.
• General & Additional Duties.
