Position Overview

The Director/Tech Lead is a senior technical leadership role responsible for leading engineering teams in building agentic experiences and AI agents for business use cases using the TIP.AI Platform. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with team leadership, driving both architectural decisions and team execution to deliver AI based software solutions that solve real business problems. The ideal candidate balances deep technical knowledge with strong leadership and communication skills, and understands how to translate business requirements into effective AI agent solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers building agentic experiences and AI agents for business use cases.
  • Drive technical architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and platform teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Own the lifetime of the application, ensuring high‑quality resilancy and on‑time delivery that meets business needs.
  • Drive technical excellence through code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical discussions.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure agents meet enterprise standards.
  • Represent the engineering team in cross‑functional meetings with business stakeholders and technical discussions.
Required Qualifications
  • Deep software archetecure and engineering experience with a proven record of delivering scalable systems.
  • Experience leading a team with a proven responsibility to mentor, guide and provide formal/offical feedback.
  • Background in building AI/ML applications, LLM integrations, or AI agent systems.
  • Deep expertise in at least one modern programming language (Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into business applications and workflows.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, API design, and system integration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud services.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to make decisions under uncertainty.
  • Experience mentoring and developing engineers at various levels.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Understanding of business processes and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Experience building production AI agents or agentic systems for enterprise use.
  • Background in conversational AI, chatbots, or virtual assistants.
  • Experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI, etc.).
  • Familiarity with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) and vector databases.
  • Experience integrating with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, databases, APIs).
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM optimization techniques.
  • Experience with observability tools and monitoring AI agent performance.
  • Prior experience working with business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.
  • Experience with remote/distributed team leadership.
