GO Systems, within Product and Regulatory Operations (PRO), comprises a technically-minded team working to develop and execute a strategy for unified, interoperable infrastructure across Global Operations (GO). GO Systems enables production workflow maturity within the tooling dimension for GO by identifying appropriate tooling strategies to solve business problems and partnering with key engineering partners to execute against those strategies.
We are looking for a full-time software developer to join us. Our full stack developers help to scale and mature our tech stack by implementing new features, and last mile code changes, removing engineering bottlenecks across our various products.
Software Developer, Global Operations Responsibilities
- Extend our internal platforms and systems by building workflows and high-quality tools that enable operations to scale
- Code using primarily PHP/Hack and JavaScript/React
- Guide design and code reviews
- Use software engineering skill sets to drive meaningful business impact by looking at problems through an operational lens
- Support vibecoding across Operations
- Business case development to support new and improved processes for consumers, businesses and partners that leverage our products
- Work extensively with our cross-functional stakeholders like engineering, product management, legal, partnerships, business development and marketing
- Drive and measure tool health, while supporting bug and incident management processes
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to align priorities with stakeholders and influence organizational roadmaps
- Gather, analyze and utilize relevant data to develop ways to improve the overall support experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta
- BA / BSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field or international equivalent
- 3+ years of programming experience developing end-to-end systems spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure (Full Stack)
- Analytical-thinking and problem-solving experience
- Experience working across a global multicultural and multilingual team, solving problems and designing business operations from scratch
- Experience communicating with cross-functional partners (both technical and non-technical audiences)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with customer support/operations software-oriented projects
- Experience working in a technology company, consulting firm or a equivalent productive environment
- Knowledgeable in driving solutions for global operational teams
- Experience with scrum and agile methodologies in delivering roadmaps
- Experience with AI technologies
- Experience of consistently working under your own initiative and prioritization of work with minimal input
- Experience with process change management or process improvement
- Experience with internal tool development incorporating WFM knowledge and bug management
- Proven collaboration and communication skills across a global team
