This includes creating new AI- powered experiences as well as integrating intelligence- assisted capabilities that help users stay informed and act with confidence. n 

As a SharePoint AI Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with design, product management, research, and engineering to define and deliver AI user experiences in SharePoint. You will conceptualize and design thoughtful solutions that balance simplicity with the complexity of large-scale information systems.  

Your work will span areas such as navigation, information architecture, content hierarchy, authoring experiences, and AI-driven interaction models. You will explore how AI-assisted capabilities can reduce cognitive load, surface relevant information, and help users take meaningful action within their daily workflow. We’re particularly interested in designers who are exploring how AI can accelerate the design and product development process itself.

• Design end-to-end user experiences across the product lifecycle, from early concepts to shipped features.  
• Rapidly explore and prototype ideas using AI-assisted tools and lightweight experiments to test concepts and learn quickly.
• Contribute to interaction oriented workflows, including content creation, publishing, discovery, and management experiences.
• Explore and design AI-assisted interactions such as recommendations, suggestions, automation, and agent-driven workflows, while maintaining clarity, trust, and user control.
• Partner closely with engineering, research, and product teams to iterate, validate, and refine solutions.
• Translate complex problem spaces into intuitive, usable experiences through strong information design and interaction models.
• Create clear design outputs that communicate intent, including flows, prototypes, and lightweight specifications that help engineering move quickly.
• Apply solid visual design principles, including layout, hierarchy, typography, color, motion, and imagery. 
• You will work within a collaborative, highly creative, and agile environment, partnering across disciplines to deliver shared outcomes.
• You are comfortable articulating design decisions, incorporating feedback, and aligning teams around a clear user experience vision.
• You value learning, iteration, and inclusive collaboration, and are curious about how emerging technologies, particularly AI, can be applied thoughtfully in real products.

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Visual Design or related field AND experience working in product or service design
  • OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).
• Professional experience in product or service design, including experience designing online or cloud based services.
• A solid, user centered approach to design informed by qualitative and quantitative research.
• Solid interaction design skills, with the ability to create and prototype experiences that communicate user intent.
• Solid collaboration and communication skills, with experience working closely with design, product, and engineering partners.
