A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Production Maintenance Planner to support our mission, at our Dunboyne site. Join our company, a premier research-intensive biopharmaceutical company, and be at the forefront of delivering innovative health solutions.

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:

  • Lead best in class planning and scheduling for Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) works on production equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and due dates.
  • Drive continuous improvement related to production equipment with a Safety first, Quality Always focus.
  • Correctly identify, prioritise, schedule and resource all maintenance-related works. Ability to proficiently communicate with numerous stakeholders, co-ordinate with wider teams and escalate appropriately.
  • Maintain long, medium and short range look ahead plans and review weekly KPI reports for the team and report at Tier 1.
  • Lead and chair weekly schedule meetings where weekly metrics are reviewed and action plans as appropriate are put in place.
  • Account for monthly accruals relating to SLA spend and raise purchase requisitions for maintenance expenditure.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Finite Scheduling team and Process Engineering technical personnel on equipment maintenance and performance issues.
  • Prepare Engineering Technicians work schedules, completing lookaheads and ensuring batch operations are supported and equipment downtime is reviewed.
  • Support investigations to ensure robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) are identified and implemented.
  • Support audit readiness activities, critical spares availability, SLA reviews and Work Order optimisation.
  • Complete periodic reviews and other compliance documentation aligned with the site Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Review all work requests and act as a gatekeeper to prioritize incoming works on the CMMS.
  • Schedule and plan all maintenance activities ensuring that handovers, permits, RAMS, parts, spares and vendors are prepared for the job.

What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

Required

  • 3rd level qualification in Engineering, technical discipline, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on competing priorities in a dynamic environment with a problem-solving mentality.
  • Experience with CMMS (SAP PM/ equivalent).
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, focus on meeting and tracking schedules, and embrace an interdependent work culture.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and maintenance practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, excellent communicator and know when to escalate issues for resolution.

Preferred

  • Knowledge and experience in Bio-Pharma Single-Use equipment
  • Engineering planning/scheduling experience preferred.
