Role Overview
Murphy Geospatial is seeking a Geospatial Consultant to join our Digital Engineering Department, supporting both Sales and Customer Success. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong geospatial background who wants to broaden their experience within a rapidly evolving and innovative industry.
In this client-focused role, you will provide commercial support, technical insight, and customer success across our full service offering. You’ll work closely with clients, internal teams, and partners to ensure exceptional service delivery, business growth, and strong long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Sales Support
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients.
- Identify new opportunities and support pipeline development.
- Attend client meetings, workshops and presentations.
- Prepare quotations, fee proposals and tender responses.
- Manage CRM updates and follow-up actions.
- Report weekly on leads, pipeline and progress.
- Support customer success activities to ensure high satisfaction.
Customer Success & Process Support
- Understand and communicate the full MGS service offering.
- Validate workflows, scopes and deliverables for proposals.
- Capture client feedback and support improvements.
- Assist with quality, risk and scope management.
Technical & Departmental Support
- Provide basic guidance on geospatial methods, digital workflows and surveying best practices.
- Support clients with queries related to spatial data, BIM and service selection.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and partners to support project delivery and business growth.
Role Requirements
- Degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, BIM or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in the geospatial/surveying industry.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and meet targets.
- Commercial awareness.
- Full clean Irish driving licence and right to work in Ireland.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- BIM or Autodesk Revit experience (advantageous).
