Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Surveyors to support a range of infrastructure and civil engineering projects across Ireland. This is a short-term 4-month contract starting in June and is primarily field based, working on active construction sites.
Surveyors may be allocated to different projects during the contract period, depending on business needs. This role is suited to professionals who are comfortable working independently onsite and adapting to different site environments.
What You Will Do
- Carry out accurate field surveying across active construction and infrastructure sites
- Operate surveying equipment including total stations, laser scanners and digital levels
- Set out, measure, record and report site data in line with project requirements
- Work independently onsite while collaborating with engineers and site teams
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with project specifications and health & safety standards
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a surveyor
- Proven experience using total stations, laser scanners and digital levels
- Ability to work independently onsite with minimal supervision
- Working level of English for site communication
- Good attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills
- Registered as self-employed or willing to set up as self-employed
- Valid legal right to work in Ireland for the duration of the contract

Important Information:
This role is offered on an External Contractor Agreement basis only. Applicants must be registered as self-employed or operate via their own business and must already hold the legal right to work in Ireland for the duration of the contract. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship cannot be provided.
Rotational working arrangements may be considered on appointment. Candidates will be asked to outline any preferences or requirements regarding work rotations during the interview process.
