IT Vendor & Contract Integration Lead

Dublin, Ireland

Job Description

IT Vendor & Contract Integration Lead (APM / EA Focus)

IT portfolio discovery, vendor and contract integration, application rationalisation, and value realisation in an M&A environment.

Summary

We are seeking an IT Vendor & Contract Integration Lead to own technology portfolio discovery, analysis, and transition planning during post‑acquisition integration.

This role will be on a 6/12 Month FTC.

This role focuses on building a high‑quality IT asset and vendor inventory, evaluating future‑state actions (merge, replatform, retain, decommission), and driving data‑backed decisions on cost, value, and risk. The role partners closely with business, technology, procurement, and M&A stakeholders to create executable roadmaps and ensure benefits realisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, normalise, and maintain IT asset portfolios, ensuring high data quality and completeness of metadata aligned to M&A integration requirements.
  • Identify gaps in inventory, contracts, and metadata; drive remediation to establish a reliable system of record.
  • Evaluate future‑state actions for applications and vendors (merge, replatform, keep, decommission), identifying redundancies and scoring cost, value, and risk.
  • Develop technology roadmaps with clear timelines, dependencies, and transition states tied to portfolio decisions.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional working sessions to drive decisions, manage risks/issues, and control dependencies and critical paths.
  • Perform financial modeling (TCO, NPV, payback) and scenario analysis to support investment and rationalisation decisions.
  • Track post‑integration benefits and outcomes, including KPIs such as cost‑to‑serve, utilisation, redundancy reduction, technical debt, and onboarding time.
  • Analyse change impacts and support stakeholder communications throughout integration.
  • Leverage APM and EA tools (e.g., ServiceNow APM, LeanIX, CMDB) to model portfolios, support analysis, and produce decision‑ready outputs.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Strong experience in IT portfolio management, vendor/contract integration, or technology rationalisation.
  • Hands‑on proficiency with APM / EA tools (ServiceNow APM, LeanIX, CMDB or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to drive structured decision‑making in complex, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience with financial analysis and modelling for IT investments.
  • Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to data quality, governance, and analytical rigor.

Nice to Have

  • M&A integration experience.
  • Experience partnering with Procurement, Finance, and Legal on vendor and contract transitions.
  • Background in enterprise architecture or technology strategy.
