Job Description

Oracle’s Financial Services Legal team is a specialist group in the company’s Legal Department that delivers strategic legal advice relating to financial services regulatory matters that affect Oracle and its customers. The team is global in scope and its responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing and advising on regulatory developments, responding to regulatory proposals and consultations, supporting the implementation of regulatory-driven operational and policy changes, advising on the regulatory implications of new services models, and addressing regulatory matters arising in the context of Oracle’s sales, marketing and transactional activities. Through this work, the Financial Services Legal team plays a key role in advancing Oracle’s commercial objectives while managing its risks and maintaining its commitment to legal and regulatory compliance.

About the Role:

Oracle is seeking an experienced professional to join the Financial Services Legal team as a Program Manager. In this role, you will help Oracle address compliance matters arising under regulations that apply to Oracle as a service provider in the financial services space. Working alongside lawyers in the Financial Services Legal team and with business groups across the organization, you will facilitate systems and processes to support Oracle in its development of a robust regulatory compliance program.

Tasks include:

  • Managing processes and tools to support program goals
  • Ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely and relevant
  • Monitoring and track relevant regulatory requirements, compliance strategies, implementation initiatives
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with other teams including security, business practices and operations to help progress program goals and initiatives
  • Supporting the onboarding, training and group activities of the team
  • Assisting with team updates and preparation of presentation and training materials
  • Driving knowledge management and sharing activities
 Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years of relevant experience
  • Outstanding project management and communication skills
  • Systems implementation and tooling skills
  • Fluency with common MS Office applications and AI tools
  • Professional demeanor; confident and innovative
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and strong time management skills
  • Problem solver with creative and innovative approach along with strong decision-making abilities
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced and continually evolving business environment

Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
