We have an opportunity available for an Associate Regulatory Counsel to join our team in Dublin to provide regulatory support to the Paysafe business globally. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified lawyer who is early in their career and eager to develop expertise in financial services regulation within a dynamic, fast-paced international environment. In this role you will be working closely and collaboratively with colleagues across the business to advise on applicable e-money and payment services regulation and regulatory guidance.

How we work:
Our preference is for the job holder to follow our hybrid model of 3 days a week on average per week at this office, in the heart of Dublin.
The impact you will have:
- Track, identify and analyse regulatory changes across multiple jurisdictions and advise internal stakeholders on the applicability of those requirements to Paysafe.
- Assist in advising business and product teams on applicable regulatory requirements including on the regulatory aspects of new product development and delivery channels.
- Work closely with internal teams including Compliance, Product, Internal Audit, Risk, and Finance to ensure that regulatory requirements are understood and embedded in day to day processes.
- Assist in managing Paysafe’s relationship with key regulators including preparation/co-ordination of responses to requests for information and participation in supervisory engagement meetings.
- Support on the preparation of licensing applications to and registrations with regulators
- Assist in preparing periodic reporting to internal Committees and Boards.
- Draft positions papers, commentary, training, and knowledge sharing materials for internal and external circulation.
- Co-ordinate responses to consultations on proposed regulatory changes and participate in related lobbying activity.
- Represent Paysafe at external meetings including with industry bodies.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified lawyer with experience in financial services regulation gained in a financial institution, regulator or financial services department of a law firm with experience interacting with the regulatory authorities
- Payments/E-Money industry experience preferred
- Fluent in English
- Team player with high self-motivation, positive ‘can-do’ attitude and collaborative approach
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal issues to multi-disciplinary teams
