Description
Overview The APO Planner is responsible for executing weekly planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities within the assigned category to ensure uninterrupted concentrate availability. This includes translating demand signals into actionable supply plans, coordinating with manufacturing sites, and managing inventory movements across the network. The planner actively manages the supply chain for Carbonated Soft Drink (CSD) operations, overseeing product flow from the plant through the PCS US warehouse to the end customer. They ensure timely execution of supply plans, resolve operational bottlenecks, and maintain service levels by aligning production schedules with forecasted demand. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to address supply constraints, optimize resource utilization, and deliver consistent, high-performance outcomes across the supply network. Responsibilities Component Planning Execution: Utilize APO to plan components supporting bottler operations from plant through PCS US to PCS&D Distribution Centers. Exception Management: Conduct weekly APO reviews, identify exceptions, and take corrective actions to maintain supply continuity. STO Creation & Execution: Generate and execute Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) using APO to support both routine operations and innovation timelines. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure supply alignment and timely decision-making on expedites. Innovation Support: Plan and expedite components for new product launches, ensuring readiness to meet Available-to-Order (ATO) targets. In-Transit Visibility: Leverage 4Kites for real-time in-transit reporting, container prioritization, and PCS US warehouse updates. Issue Resolution: Proactively resolve supply-related delays and conflicts to maintain service levels and customer satisfaction. Customer Engagement: Participate in customer S&OP processes and maintain clear, consistent communication with customer contacts. Order Management: Receive, review, and confirm customer sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfilment. Cost & Productivity Initiatives: Contribute to cost-saving projects and continuous improvement efforts across the supply chain. Data & Compliance: Maintain accurate SAP master data and ensure full compliance with SOX and Global Control Standards (GCS) audit requirements. Key Measures of Success 99% customer service order fulfillment Supplier quality and right-first-time delivery Annual cost savings and DII target compliance 100% compliance with purchasing policy and audit standards Zero material write-offs through proactive risk management Speed-to-market and innovation ATO targets Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain functions (planning, inventory, sourcing) Experience with international shipping and customs Proven ability to manage inventory across multiple sites Proficiency in SAP Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and build rapport across teams
