Cork

Description

Overview Are you ready to take on a dynamic role at the heart of PepsiCo’s global supply chain? As part of our Vendor Direct hub team in Cork, you’ll manage the end-to-end flow of materials that PepsiCo sources from 35+ global vendors and ships to 30+ customers worldwide. Unlike traditional supply chains, these materials aren’t produced in-house — instead, you’ll coordinate directly with vendors, our 3PL partners, and customer service teams to ensure smooth, on-time delivery of 500+ unique materials across multiple regions. This is a fantastic opportunity to build hands-on experience in logistics, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration, while gaining exposure to new product launches, global freight lanes, and continuous improvement projects. You’ll work closely with Procurement, Quality, IT, and Planning teams, as well as our freight providers, giving you a 360° view of a fast-paced, multinational supply chain. Responsibilities You’ll be the key link for Vendor Direct orders in your region — ensuring every order is set up, shipped, and delivered on time while driving efficiency and best practices across the process. Freight & Logistics Oversee shipments end-to-end: from order placement through delivery, including NPIs and innovations. Partner with 3PL in Shannon and carriers to resolve issues, optimise freight, and improve performance. Support freight invoice resolution, route maintenance, and KPI reviews with logistics providers. Vendor Management Act as the first point of contact for vendors in your region — monitoring delivery and quality performance. Work with Procurement and Quality teams on complaints, NCRs, and process improvements. Share monthly forecasts with vendors to ensure smooth planning and execution. Data & Performance Metrics Own and update key scorecards and trackers, reporting Vendor Direct performance to senior management. Collaborate with Demand Planning to track On-Time Delivery (OTD) and forecast changes. Partner with IT on automation and reporting enhancements. Controls & Master Data Ensure compliance with GCS & SOX controls. Maintain accurate master data (lead times, shipping/storage conditions, hazardous/temperature-controlled materials). Lead data cleansing and analysis activities to drive accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications Third-level qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. 3+ years’ experience in a multinational supply chain environment. Proficiency in SAP with ability to extract and interpret data. Strong operational experience in freight or planning. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Nice to Have: Knowledge of regional/global freight practices. Experience coaching or supporting colleagues. Resilience, positivity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
