
Offshore Project Manager

The project: The role is within the chief infrastructure office of a semi-state organisation in Ireland responsible for the delivery of Offshore Wind projects across Ireland. Responsibilities within this role will include managing these projects from conceptual phase through feasibility, statutory planning assessment and consent to handover for detailed design and construction phase. The role will involve a combination of office-based working and visits to sites where assets are located in the South East of Ireland.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Applying strong technical H&S knowledge across project portfolios.
- Maintaining quality systems and deliver end‑to‑end project plans.
- Supporting senior leaders with accurate, timely project deliverables.
- Managing stakeholder and communications requirements through procurement and delivery.
- Overseeing stakeholder engagement and governance reporting.
- Managing budgets, risks and sustainable project outcomes.
- Driving collaboration, best practice and high‑performing project teams.
You’ll need to have:
- Engineering degree with 4+ years’ infrastructure project experience and strong power‑systems understanding.
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts and introduce innovative, efficient solutions.
- Strong commercial, analytical and IT capability with excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Professional membership preferred, with stakeholder engagement experience and awareness of carbon and sustainability impacts.
