PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of Junior Market Manager in Westport, Ireland on full time basis, reporting to Sr. Market Manager. With 1400 styles across more than 20 ranges, we design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities. JOB SUMMARY:
The Junior Market Manager will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting our sales team, improving customer experience and driving growth. You will be flexible to the changing needs of the business & provide cross departmental support as and when required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify opportunities to expand and grow sales in their market.
- Work closely with the sales teams in their market to have a full understanding of the market needs.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure their market and sales teams are receiving the necessary service.
- Understand existing customer relationships and their requirements.
- Help manage and develop key customer relationships.
- Analyse sales and KPI reports and recommend how the sales team can adjust to increase sales.
- Conduct market research and perform analysis including creation of detailed business plan.
- Help with tenders in markets where required.
- Provide support to other commercial departments as and when the business need arises.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant third level qualification within Business/Administration is desirable but not essential.
- 2+ years’ experience in an office-based role required
- Interest in sales and improving the sales process
- Project Management skills and experience
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
