The Role

Proofpoint is seeking an Instructional Designer to create and deliver practical, high-impact learning experiences for a global workforce. This role is focused on building content that supports live programs, accelerates onboarding, and enables leaders and employees to be effective quickly.

This is a hands-on role that requires speed, strong judgment, and comfort working across formats — from live sessions and presentations to short-form videos and digital learning.

A key part of this role is using AI to improve how content is created and scaled, reducing production time while maintaining quality.

This role requires flexibility to work across time zones and collaborate with stakeholders in EMEA and the Americas. 

Your Day-to-Day

• Design and build learning content across formats, including instructor-led sessions, presentations (PPT), job aids, short videos, and online modules.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, practical learning experiences.
• Develop materials to support live programs, including facilitator guides, participant materials, and supporting resources.
• Create short-form video and digital content to reinforce learning and scale programs globally.
• Use AI tools to accelerate content creation, improve quality, and reduce development time.
• Continuously update and refine content based on feedback, program outcomes, and changing business needs.
• Manage multiple projects at once, balancing speed with quality in a fast-paced environment.

What You Bring to the Team

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in instructional design or e-learning development, preferably in a global or cross-cultural environment.
• Experience designing and building learning content across multiple formats, including live sessions, presentations (PPT), video, and digital learning.
• Strong skills in PowerPoint and creating clear, engaging presentation-based learning.
• Experience creating video and/or e-learning modules using modern tools (e.g., Articulate or similar).
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to accelerate content creation and improve quality.
• Ability to work quickly and independently, balancing speed with quality.
• Strong partnership skills and ability to translate business needs into practical learning solutions.
• Experience working across global teams and time zones.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and time zones.
