Description

We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.

This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.

THE ROLE

As the Manager of International Revenue (IR) & Accounts Receivable (AR) Accounting, you are the hands-on lead ensuring the integrity of our global financial results. Reporting to the Director, you will drive the execution of revenue recognition and month-end close while acting as a vital bridge between technical policy and operational reality. Your mission is to optimize the Order-to-Cash lifecycle by integrating AI-driven automation into contract reviews and reconciliations, ensuring our global accounting infrastructure scales with complex multi-element arrangements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Tactical Deal Partnership: Collaborate directly with Deal Desk, Sales, and Legal to review contract structures in real-time, providing practical guidance that balances commercial speed with strict ASC 606 compliance.
  • Precision Revenue Execution: Own the end-to-end revenue close for assigned international regions, managing everything from contract review and journal entries to the reconciliation of complex deferred revenue accounts.
  • Insight-Driven Reporting: Partner with FP&A to translate raw revenue data into actionable insights, assisting with deferred revenue forecasting and trend analysis that informs regional business strategy.
  • Audit & Control Readiness: Maintain a "continuously audit-ready" environment by executing SOX controls, managing walkthroughs, and providing precise documentation for internal and external auditors across global jurisdictions.
  • Automation & Process Innovation: Identify and implement "quick-win" automation opportunities, collaborating with Finance Systems to pilot AI tools for contract review and anomaly detection to increase team efficiency.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • ASC 606 Expertise: A strong technical foundation in revenue recognition within the technology sector, with the ability to apply complex policies to SaaS, hardware, and hybrid business models.
  • Operational Excellence: Proven experience managing high-volume month-end closes and reconciliations in a fast-paced, multi-entity international environment.
  • Collaborative Influence: The ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners in Sales and FP&A, translating accounting requirements into clear, actionable business guidance.
  • Tech-Forward Mindset: Proficiency with enterprise systems (SAP, NetSuite, or Zuora) and a genuine drive to adopt AI and automation tools to eliminate manual workflows.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Dublin, Staines or Prague office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
