Description

We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.

This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.

THE ROLE

Lead the strategic execution of our international revenue (IR) and accounts receivable (AR) operations, serving as a critical partner within the Order to Cash organization. You will bridge the gap between technical accounting compliance and commercial strategy, advising cross-functional teams on complex global deal structures and revenue recognition. As a strategic leader, you will drive operational excellence, oversee statutory reporting, and champion automation initiatives to scale our global financial processes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • GTM & Technical Advisory: Partner with regional Deal Desk and Sales teams to evaluate contract structures, providing clear guidance on ASC 606 compliance and ensuring new business models are integrated seamlessly into our global framework.
  • Operational Revenue Leadership: Lead the international revenue close and AR accounting processes, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy in reporting, reconciliations, and intercompany eliminations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strategic FP&A Partnership: Collaborate closely with FP&A and Treasury to provide highly accurate revenue analytics and forecasts for deferred revenue, RPO, and cash collections, directly influencing global business decision-making.
  • Audit & Control Management: Drive the execution of SOX controls and coordinate international statutory audits, delivering precise documentation and proactive insights to internal and external auditors to ensure global compliance.
  • AI & Automation Transformation: Champion the deployment of AI-powered tools and intelligent automation to streamline contract reviews and anomaly detection, moving the function toward a data-driven, automated future.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Deep Technical Proficiency: Robust knowledge of ASC 606 within the technology sector, with specific experience managing revenue across SaaS, hardware, and hybrid business models.
  • Global Accounting & Statutory Knowledge: Solid understanding of international accounting principles and the complexities of multi-entity consolidations and statutory reporting requirements across different regions.
  • Systems & Digital Fluency: Practical experience with enterprise-grade ERPs (like SAP or NetSuite) and a proactive mindset toward adopting machine learning and automation tools to enhance financial workflows.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Proven experience managing accounting professionals and the ability to partner effectively across Finance, IT, and GTM functions to solve complex operational challenges.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Dublin, Staines or Prague office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
