We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Chief Data Office team. This junior level role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your data skills and contribute to our organisation’s mission of maintaining the highest standards of data governance and quality. You will play a key role in supporting data governance initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across the business.Key Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation and enforcement of data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
Support data quality monitoring processes, performing data quality checks and identifying anomalies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and maintain data lineage, data definitions, and metadata.
Help maintain data stewardship activities and provide support to data owners and custodians.
Assist in preparing reports and dashboards on data quality metrics for senior management.
Participate in data quality issue identification, root cause analysis, and remediation tracking.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to data governance and quality practices.
Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory requirements concerning data governance and management.
Provide general administrative support to the Data Governance & Quality pillar as needed.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a data management or data quality-focused role.
Third-level qualification required; a degree in Information Management or related field is desirable.
Good understanding of data governance frameworks, data standard and compliance
Exposure to data management, data governance or data quality concepts
Experience with data catalog and lineage concepts and solutions desirable
Familiarity with data quality frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) desirable.
Experience in quality control, cleansing and remediation.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience working in high-performing teams and delivering to deadlines.
Foundational project management experience including stakeholder management, task planning, and milestone tracking.
