The successful candidate will work within the expanding School of Nursing & Midwifery at Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), supporting the management of the full student lifecycle, from initial enquiry and application through to graduation and alumni engagement, as well as contributing to ad-hoc projects and events across the School. This role requires strong organisational capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic academic environment. Job Responsibilities This role entails end-to-end student journey management, from first point of contact through to graduation and alumni support. The successful candidate will: Coordinate the logistical and operational delivery of multiple academic programmes. Develop and manage advertising and promotional materials for courses in line with School and institutional branding guidelines. Manage programme applications and admissions processes, including the verification of professional and educational qualifications. Organise and host student registration and induction events. Coordinate online assessment submissions, written examinations, and other assessment formats; collate and communicate student results. Liaise closely with the Student Fees Office to support timely fee collection and follow up on outstanding payments. Manage the Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle), including module setup, enrolments, and user administration. Monitor and manage student progression using the School’s student management system. Prepare and distribute reports for internal and external stakeholders and partners. Support the preparation and administration of examination boards and the production of student transcripts. Work closely with Programme Directors to ensure External Examiners receive required documentation and student data. Assist Programme Directors with timetabling coordination and room bookings. Support the organisation and delivery of the annual Graduation ceremony, including student invitations, parchment ordering, and on-the-day event coordination. Assist in the maintenance and development of the School’s alumni database and alumni communications strategy Coordinate ad-hoc School events including masterclasses, open evenings, and guest lectures. Ensure all communications and materials comply with RCSI branding guidelines. Support marketing initiatives to promote the School to target audiences. Participate in training and professional development as required. Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role as required from time to time.
