Mechanical Foreman

Are you a Mechanical Foreman who is looking to be a part of delivering key projects, with a dynamic and progressive engineering company?

Rockwell are seeking an experienced foreman to oversee exciting mechanical engineering projects in the Cork region, on a permanent, full-time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• This role requires the successful candidate to be comfortable in leading a team,
• Coordinate pipe install and generate fabrication/install, isometrics, as well as the ability to work with stainless steel pipework, within a pharmaceutical manufacturing or processing environment.
• Oversight of the assembly, laying, installing and maintaining of pipes.
• The role requires both inside and outside work.
• Appropriate use of tools, including power tools, and equipment.
• Maintaining and checking of small tools and equipment.
• Reading and interpreting drawings.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and risks associated with tasks

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:

• 2 years’ experience in a supervision role working in a Pharma / Life Science environment with a strong emphasis on Safety and Quality.
• A minimum of a Level 6 QQI Certificate in Mechanical Craft Practice or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven high level of technical knowledge with practical application.
