Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join the Propylon LWB 360 team and help design, build, automate, and operate our cloud infrastructure.
This role has a strong focus on AWS, Terraform, Linux, Docker, and infrastructure automation. You will play an important role in designing and maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure while working closely with development and product teams.
We value engineers who:
- Understand the technology they operate rather than treating infrastructure as a black box.
- Can troubleshoot systematically across application, container, operating system, network and cloud layers.
- Prefer automation over repetitive manual work.
- Write infrastructure code and tooling that other engineers can safely reuse.
- Think about failure modes before they become production incidents.
- Take ownership of problems from investigation through to resolution.
- Can explain technical decisions and their trade-offs.
- Care about reliability, security, maintainability and operational excellence.
The role provides an opportunity to work across cloud, operating systems, networking, containerisation, and automation layers, troubleshooting complex production issues and continuously improving the reliability and maintainability of our environments.
