Within the Faculty, the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering offers a wide range of programmes in Aircraft Systems, Agricultural Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pilot Studies and Aerospace Engineering. The Department prides itself in providing an excellent student experience using state of the art facilities: Aircraft Hangar, Avionics laboratory, and Mechanical workshops. Our dedicated staff have extensive industrial experience, and all our programmes are professionally accredited with organisations such as Engineers Ireland and the Royal Aeronautical Society. The Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering is looking to appoint a specified purpose Assistant Lecturer / Lecturer to cover subject matter across the Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechatronic background and be expert in electronics, automation, dynamics, mechanics and CAD/CAM/CNC. They should also be able to demonstrate research excellence and have published in peer reviewed journals/conferences.
