The mission of the faculty is to provide relevant education and research that combines academic rigour and excellence with social and economic impact. Programmes include Sports Management and Coaching (GAA, Rugby & Soccer) courses, BA (Honours) in PR and Media, BA (Honours) In Content Creation and Social Media, BSc (Honours) in TV and Media Production and courses in marketing including BSc (Honours) in Digital Marketing with Analytics. There are two masters’ programmes in the department: MSc in Sports Performance Analysis and MSc in Digital Marketing and Analytics, with specialist research expertise in these respective areas. The Department of Sport / Media / Marketing seeks to appoint a permanent Assistant Lecturer / Lecturer to cover subject matter across the Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students the creative, technical, and professional skills required for careers in television, digital media, and content production. The role blends academic instruction with industry practice.
